Boomer, a Brazilian mastiff, will again be visiting the Gideon Elementary Library this year on a weekly basis to participate in the R.E.A.D. program. Students are invited to share stories with Boomer, who is an excellent listener as he helps kids recognize the joy of reading. Boomer and his owner, Sam Moore, volunteered last year as well, and we are excited and grateful to have them return.
